Why did you join the Teacher Corps?
I joined MTC because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of teens. Education is the key to socioeconomic and political freedom, and I wanted to be a part of that process for kids in the Delta. I didn't anticipate how much joy I would receive in return; my students bring me tremendous professional and personal satisfaction. I would highly encourage others to look into MTC, because the level of personal and educational growth it has provided is amazing.
