Why did you join the Mississippi Teacher Corps?
I joined MTC because I wanted to give teaching a try, and I was able to just jump right into it after graduation. Teaching these children is harder than it looks, but that is because I am constantly pushing myself to find new and interesting ways to teach the material. I now see that this profession causes you to draw from within yourself so that your strengths are maximized and your weaknesses are confronted. You grow and mature while your kids grow and mature. You learn as they learn. A teacher is a professional person who possesses the spirit of adoption. I am now the proud single-parent of over 100 children.
