Why did you join the Teacher Corps?
I decided to join the MTC because I didn't yet feel ready to pursue my life-long career, but I knew for a fact that I had always wanted to teach. Joining the Mississippi Teacher Corps seemed like the perfect way to continue my education, give something back, and, at the end of two years, have the opportunity to continue in education or pursue another field.
