Why did you join Teacher Corps?
I joined MTC because I wanted to make a difference. I was tired of the cubicle life and I felt that teaching would give me the opportunity to directly influence the lives of people around me. At my old job, it didn't seem to matter whether I made to work each day. Now, I have three classes of teenagers who rely on me each day to greet them at the door and then make their lives so horrible by requiring them to do work from bell to bell. It is a gratifying feeling.
