Why did you join MTC?
_____The program seems like a perfect opportunity to develop my skills as a teacher, and it will provide solid background for what will likely turn into my life-long career.  I think the MTC will push me outside of my boundaries, and provide a challenging experience in a region of the U.S. that is new to me.  And, of course, I want to do whatever I can to help improve the lives of the kids who will become my students.
