Why did you decide to do the MTC Summer Internship?
____I decided to intern for the Mississippi Teacher Corps because they are making a difference in education in Mississippi. I grew up in this state and I have witnessed educational inequity. i also know the difference that one teacher can make in a student's life. And I am passionate about making a difference in Mississippi's public education system.

Goals for the summer:
____My goal for the summer is to learn as much as possible about Mississippi Teacher Corps. I hope I am able to make a difference in at least one child's life, directly or indirectly. I hope to gain a new perspective about the policies that affect the classroom. My goal is to the best intern I can be.
