The 10 Day Lesson Plan was one of the major projects assigned during our first year of the Mississippi Teacher Corps. The assignment was to prepare 10 consecutive lessons that met stringent state, STAI, and University of Mississippi criteria. In order to pass the class, MTC students had to meet a minimum point level on the project. Looking back at my lessons from this first year, I am very thankful that I have grown professionally. My lessons today are much more organized and include a broader range of activities, teaching styles, and sensory media. Cick on the links below to view each day's lesson.

*27% of those incarcerated in the U.S. participate in vocational training and 35% participate in educational programs. Of those who completed educational training while incarcerated only 19.1% were reincarcerated, whereas 49.1% represents the number who did not participate in any education and were reincarcerated (National Institute for Literacy).
