The
Mississippi Space Grant Consortium Internship/Fellowship Program
The goal of the program is to enlarge and enhance the number of higher
education graduates who stay connected to or become involved with NASA as
employees, contractors or principal investigators. This program is part of the
Consortium's Workforce Development Project.
Internships
and fellowships provide technical, interpersonal and communication skills and
practical knowledge needed in the workplace and help universities and colleges
gauge the level of current skills and skills needed in the aerospace-related
industry.
The twelve
student interns and three community college fellows matched with partner
facilities during the summer of 2004 are:
