Assessment in Higher Education Links
![]()
Assessment of educational outcomes--at the various levels of individual students, departmental programs, and institutional programming--has become an important issue in pharmacy education. Many educators are now being asked to show evidence of tutorial successes, beyond the traditional indicators of student pass/fail ratios and student evaluations of teaching. The questions about assessment are prominent throughout higher education, and pharmacy educators may benefit from the lessons learned by their colleagues in other disciplines.
Below is a list of several links pertaining to assessment in higher education. The list is grouped according to area of assessment. If you are willing to share any experiences pertinent to assessment in pharmacy that would be valuable to the community of pharmacy educators, or if you know of a useful link that should be added to this list, please notify the site coordinator (pharmednet@olemiss.edu), and that addition will be made.
