Student Master data data continues to be configured, and should be completed by the end of the week for use in defining the 'student prototype' and 'proof of concept'.
Norman continues to work on the loading of all U.S. High Schools within CM.
Oliphant, Vinson, Parham and Stribling met to discuss the Law Admission process as it might flow in Campus Management. Stribling agreed to review the meeting notes and prepare a rough draft of the Law Admissions Business Blueprint. Vinson agreed to provide samples of all FOCUS type reports, and will document correspondence requirements.
Gates prepared a prelinary proposal to address our Orientation needs within CM which will be presented to the CM team leads upon approval from several other individuals.
Linda Bailey continues to research correspondence capabilities within Training and Event Management.
IT staff members attended 2 days of training to teach the staff how to apply UM rules to the various processes within CM.
Changes to new Undergraduate Application for Admission were approved.
A proposal for addressing the issue of creating business partners for non-students was submitted as an information item. Work commenced on proposals for legacy conversion of A/R transactions and financial holds.
A basic fee calculation model has been configured. Additional work on refinements for dealing with assessment caps are underway.
Work continued on the process of mapping charges from various feeder systems to SAP.
A meeting was held to discuss the impact on the implication of FI-CA postings in FM where the G/L clearing account is posted rather than the actual G/L. We determined that since UM does not rely on FM for its reporting needs, this not be an issue for us; however, a decision to accept SAP's recommendation for this issue may be forthcoming.
We tested the Revenue Increasing Budget program in FM, and concluded that it works for postings from FI-CA. We requested that the Production customized reports for FM be established in the sandbox so we can fully test the RIB feature.
The SAP production server, UMPRD, will be unavailable for user login from midnight Friday July 26 until 7am Monday July 29. End of year processing will occur during this time period.
SAP's WAS 6.10 was installed several weeks ago and testing has been taking place. The upgrade for this (release 6.20) has arrived and the upgrade to that level is in progress. The prepare phase has been completed and the entire upgrade should be done by 07/26.
