Jack compiled a spreadsheet of transaction volumes for the fiscal years 2001 & 2002 based on extracts which Rick provided from the legacy system. The spreadsheet is based on the legacy description codes and shows the G/L Account, Business Area, Controlling and Funds Management information. A review of this information provides an opportunity to consolidation some revenue categories. The spreadsheet information is sufficient to model the Main & Sub transaction codes in the sandbox. These codes are very important for processes in SAP's Contract Accounting component and subsequent reporting.
