Jones, immediate past president of the American Heart Association, will discuss health care disparities in the American health care system during the 2008 Presidential Campaign and Health Care Lecture at The University of Mississippi’s Gertrude C. Dr. Leigh Ann Ross, associate professor, has been named associate dean for clinical affairs and chair of pharmacy practice at the School of Pharmacy. She replaces Dr. H. Joseph Byrd, who retired July 1. More

During commencement ceremonies May 10, the school graduated 90 students with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree, 74 students with a Doctor of Pharmacy, two students with a Master of Science degree, and 12 students with a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Photos
