Why use this site?
How many times have you sat down at your computer to search the Internet only to find yourself interrupted before you have found the site you needed?   How many sites have you found that look impressive but really don't have the content?  This site was developed by teachers for busy teachers who support the arts and want to further the integration of the arts into their curriculum.  All links have been carefully selected and are accessible from our sites.  The sites have been chosen specifically to appeal to the classroom teacher who desires to integrate the arts into the curriculum but has limited time or resources on specific arts disciplines.
Why Teach the Arts ?
"The arts are the embodiment of human imagination, the
record of human achievement, and the process that
distinguishes us as human beings. We form human
communities and cultures by making art - through
stories and songs, drama and dance, painting and
sculpture, architecture and design..."
