This web site is supported by the Getty Education Institute for the Arts and contains a variety of teaching materials, scope and sequence guides, and lesson plans for integrating art into the curriculum. The lessons contain discipline based art activities, background references and ideas on how to extend a lesson.
The Incredible Art Department
This site is a service of the New York Foundation for the Arts. It contains art education information for parents, teachers, and students. Lesson plans, children's art room, are in the format. With the extension /lessons/drama/drama.html you will lessons that integrate art and drama.

The Kennedy Center Museum
This site is an excellent resource for the arts. It is possible because of a collaboration between the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts with support from the U.S. Department of Education.

The Museum of Modern Art in New York
This site is The Museum of Modern Art. At this museum students will have opportunities to do online projects, such as the Safari Online. They may also choose to submit original artwork, and take a virtual tour of the artworks housed there.
The Frick Collection
This collection of artwork (paintings & sculpture) numbers over 1,100 from the 13th to the 19th century. These works of art are displayed in the former home of Henry Clay Frick. Students may take a virtual tour through the lens of the camera.
