Maurice A. Biot Medal

The Maurice A. Biot Medal was established in 2002 by a generous endowment from Madame M. A. Biot to the American Society of Civil Engineers to honor of her late husband. The medal annually awards "an individual who has made outstanding research contributions to the mechanics of porous materials."
