About Our Program

Graduate Assistant Visit Day at The University of Mississippi connects students to opportunities. The program is designed to complement graduate studies in higher education/student personnel and provides prospective graduate students the opportunity to come to Ole Miss, tour facilities, meet faculty and staff, and interview for various assistantships across campus. The program is a collaboration between the Division of Student Affairs, the Department of Leadership and Counselor Education, and the UM Student Personnel Association. The program allows prospective graduate students from across the country the chance to come see what Ole Miss is all about. Participants in Graduate Assistant Visit Day will

  • Tour the beautiful Ole Miss campus and downtown Oxford
  • Meet key faculty and staff
  • Learn about various assistantships across the campus
  • Learn about the higher education curriculum
  • Meet current graduate students from all over the nation
  • Interview for graduate assistant positions
