Teaching

General Instruction

From its inception, EDHE 105 has been taught by a select group of faculty and administrators at Ole Miss who have a special interest in first-year student education and the overall well-being of our entering freshman students. EDHE 105 instructors are not paid for their services, but are a dedicated and cohesive group of mentors and teachers who teach our freshman because they love Ole Miss and love what they do. All EDHE 105 instructors must have a minimum of a Masters Degree from an accredited university and currently work for the University of Mississippi. Most EDHE 105 sections are team-taught by co-instructors which adds to the vitality and creative energy of each section and to the level of instructor attention that each student receives in these classes. EDHE 105 classes are intentionally small, with usually no more than 25 students in each section. Many of the special cohort sections have fewer than 20 students in each section.
