he Office of Strategic Planning and Office of Institutional Research, which report to the Provost, provided resource support in the development of UM's 10-year strategic plan. In conjunction with other support units on campus, they provided information and resources for the Strategic Planning Council and have the ongoing responsibility for environmental scanning and institutional analysis.
Office of Strategic Planning
Established in July 2008, the Office of Strategic Planning (OSP) assists in the advancement of the University's objectives by providing leadership and guidance in areas of strategic importance. The Office of Strategic Planning coordinates the university-wide and unit-level strategic planning process, and supports the university leadership in the implementation and monitoring of university-wide goals and initiatives.
