Dustin Brinkman is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Printmaking in the Department of Art & Art History at the University of Mississippi.
Research Interests
Brinkman has shown works across the country and abroad with recent exhibitions including INT’L Paperworks at Northwest Arts Center, Minot, ND, Not Approved by The Comics Code Authority at Artist Image Resource, Pittsburgh, PA. And Parallax at Buckham Gallery, Flint, MI. Brinkman was also the artist in residence at Scavenger Studios in Ashland, OR, in the summer of 2026.
Biography
Dustin Brinkman is an artist and printmaker who uses printmaking, bookmaking, and papermaking to explore themes of identity, gender, and material resonance. Brinkman holds a BFA in printmaking from Bowling Green State University 2016 and an MFA in Printmaking from Ohio State University 2021 where he also taught as an Instructor of Printmaking from 2021-2025. From 2024-2026, Brinkman served as the Vice President for the Mid America Print Council and currently holds the position of Instructional Assistant Professor in Printmaking at the University of Mississippi.
