Visitors

Visitors are individuals who are not students, faculty or staff. (Any of these parties found using the visitor lots would be cited and towed at the owners' expense.)

All visitors to campus must purchase a $1 daily hangtag and park in the appropriate marked parking lots. Visitors have the option of purchasing passes in the following ways:

  1. Online - You may purchase your visitor pass online and print before your arrival for your visit. The link for online visitor registration will be posted on this page prior to July 1.
  2. In Person - You may visit the Department of Parking and Transportation offices located in Lester Hall to purchase your parking pass when you arrive on campus.

A limited number of short-term (30 minutes or less), free parking is available for visitors in areas where tickets are purchased or donations are made, including the UM Foundation, Ole Miss Athletics Foundation and the Union. These spots will be clearly marked as short-term parking. Individuals with hangtags for other designated areas, such as students, faculty and staff, will be ticketed if they park in short-term visitor parking.

Campus visitors are expected to comply with all traffic and parking regulations and are allowed only to park in the appropriate visitor lots. All visitors are required to have the appropriate permit displayed. Any citations received must be paid through the Department of Parking and Transportation. Please see back of citation for more information/details. Visit these helpful links for more information:
